Generate PIN Code for Bluetooth Connection
Why my Windows XP generates a PIN code for Bluetooth connection?
✍: .fyicenter.com
If you try to connect to a new Bluetooth device in the "Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood" window as a result of the previous tutorial, Windows XP will generate a PIN code for you:
1. Turn on "Bluetooth" on your Samsung SGH-A777 cell phone as shown in the previous tutorial.
2. Turn on "Bluetooth" radio on your Windows XP system as shown in the previous tutorial.
3. Double click on "My Bluetooth Places" on the desktop and click "Search for devices in range".
4. Double click on "MYPHONE" Bluetooth icon that represents the Samsung SGH-A777 cell phone. You see the "Bluetooth Security Setup" showing up with this instruction:
Bluetooth Pairing Paired devices exchange a secret key each time they connect. This key is unique for each pair of devices; it is used to verify identity and to encrypt the data that the devices exchange. Use following PIN code on MYPHONE to perform Bluetooth pairing: 442912
The instruction is clear. This PIN code is needed to secure the connection between your two Bluetooth devices. See the picture below:
⇒ Enter Bluetooth PIN Code on Samsung Cell Phone
⇐ Search Other Bluetooth Devices in "My Bluetooth Places"
