. I am having a problem with the Internet connection. My pc with windows 8 is directly wired to a router. Browsers show error 137 (net::err-name-resolution-failed). Wireless connection is fine for the tablet.Wireless connection is fine for the tablet.

Method 1: I would suggest you to reset TCP/IP and check if it helps.

a) To open a command prompt, Press Windows key + R, Copy and paste (or type) the following command in the Open box and then press ENTER: cmd

b) At the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command and then press ENTER:
netshintip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note: If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:
netshintip reset resetlog.txt
c) Reboot the computer.

You may also follow these steps and check if it helps.

a. To open a command prompt, Press Windows key + R, Copy and paste (or type) the following command in the Open box and then press ENTER: cmd

b. Type the following commands and press Enter.
ipconfig /release
