Windows and Xbox accounts set up with different e-mail accounts, cannot merge

Q

I set up my new Windows computer (and live account) not thinking about my Xbox Live account, which was set up with an e-mail address I used a long time ago. Is there any way to merge the two under my new e-mail address?

For issues with linking and merging live email accounts, I would suggest you to refer to this link for further assistance. Fill out the requested details on the following page. Also, you can go to the xbox.com and change your email there. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/manage-account/change-xbox-live-account-info#beded5e63eba4eb79ef55490120b8a5e
