If you want to remove issch.exe from the startup application list to gain performance and reduce security risk, you can follow this tutorial.
1. Run C:\Program Files\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe
2. Click "Do a system scan only".
3. Locate the following entry in the scan report and click Fix Checked.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ISUSPM Startup] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1 \INSTAL~1\UPDATE~1\ISUSPM.exe -startup O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ISUSScheduler] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\issch.exe" -start
4. Restart your Windows system.
