MPlayer is a movie player which runs on many systems (see the documentation). MPlayer plays most MPEG/VOB, AVI, Ogg/OGM, VIVO, ASF/WMA/WMV, QT/MOV/MP4, RealMedia, Matroska, NUT, NuppelVideo, FLI, YUV4MPEG, FILM, RoQ, PVA files. You can watch VideoCD, SVCD, DVD, 3ivx, DivX 3/4/5 and even WMV movies with MPlayer.
Here is how to download and install MPlayer:
1. Go to http://www.mplayerhq.hu/.
2. Click the "download" menu link.
3. Click and HTTP site in the "MPlayer 1.0rc1 Windows" download line. You can select the next line for the GUI version.
4. Save the downloaded file to C:\temp\MPlayer-mingw32-1.0rc1.zip
5. Unzip the downloaded file and move the output directory to C:\local\mplayer.
6. Run MPlayer command without any arguments.
