If you want to remove ssdiag.exe from the startup application list to gain performance and reduce security risk,

1. Run C:\Program Files\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe
2. Click "Do a system scan only".
3. Locate the following entry in the scan report and click Fix Checked.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ssdiag] C:\WINDOWS\ssdiag.exe
