touch screen doesn't work

my touch screen doesn't work but its not just that none of the touch screen app are there or any settings on control panel or the touch screen driver can you help me get back me driver so i can use touch screen again.

I would like you to try out few methods to resolve the issue:

Method 1:

You may try running the Hardware and Device troubleshooter and check if it helps.

a. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.

b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on

troubleshooting.

c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.

d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps.

Method 2: Enable Touch screen features.

a) Press Windows key + R.

b) Click Control Panel.

c) Go to Hardware and Sound.

d) Click on Pen and touch.

e) Click the touch tab.

f) Enable use your finger as an input.

Method 3: Uninstall and re-install touch screen/mouse drivers:

I would suggest you to uninstall the touch screen/mouse drivers completely and reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer`s website.

Follow these steps to uninstall the drivers:

a) Press Windows key + X and click device manager

b) Select ‘Device manager’ and then locate ‘Mice and other pointing devices’ and expand the same.

c) Right-click on the touchpad/mouse and then uninstall the drivers.
