Shutdown/Restart Windows 8 Systems
Where is the shutdown button on my Windows 8 system? How do I shutdown, restart or sleep my Windows 8 computer?

With the new Metro UI, Windows 8 has removed the famous Start button, where you can perform different Shutdown options on old systems. Now you have to learn how to shutdonw your Windows 8 system using steps below:
1. Open the Windows 8 "Charms" bar - You can move your mouse (or your finger for touch screen) over the top right corner or the buttom right corner of the screen. The Charms bar will appears. Or you can press <Windows>-C on your keyboard.
2. Open the "Settings" pane - You can click on the Settings icon on the Charms bar. The Settings pane will appears. Or you can press <Windows>-I on your keyboard to get to here quickly :-).
3. Open the "Power" options - You can click on the Power icon on the Settings pane. The Power options will appears.
4. Perform "Shut down" - You can click "Sleep" to put your system on sleep, "Shut down" to shutdown your system, or "Update and restart" to restart your system.
